Lustfall on Kickstarter? What's this about?

Lustfall is nearing the finale and I want nothing more than to finish it off in one final update! The original plan was to drop Update 9 sometime soon (maybe by the end of this year?) and then, if I was lucky enough to have the time, work on the finale and Update 10 after the release of Hanaja's Body 2 this winter/spring. The game has been in development for several years now, and while the support grows, the cost of living, commissions, and timelines become more and more restrictive.

When the project first started, I was able to put out several Updates a year, with less and less as the time went on. At the pace that we're going now, the finale might not appear until late 2024 or even 2025. No way! I want to finish Lustfall and finish it right!!

The purpose of this Kickstarter is to get the remaining money needed to fund the commissions for Updates 9 and 10, so I can take a month to finish the project with the ending it deserves. The ending YOU all deserve!

This is BIG! Lustfall will be better if I can take the time to conclude it while the iron's still hot. Even taking breaks and working on other projects, I'll be honest, I feel the inklings of burnout slowly closing in. It's time to end things, and I want to do it before I begin to see the project as a burden or a blocker to other projects and ideas I want to pursue.

Kickstarter is ALL or NOTHING! NO RISK TO SUPPORT the project if it doesn't pan out.

I felt this was the fairest way to raise funds for the game. The last thing I want is for someone to put their support behind the game, only to realize that it fell short of the goal and now they have nothing. With the 'All or Nothing' style funding, you can safely put support behind the game with confidence that, if successful, you'll see the finale of Lustfall (and if not, you won't lose any money)!
